Research description:

Prof. Xu has published more than 40 technical papers in core magazines of electrical engineering. He has been in charge of more than ten scientific research projects, including a project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and a project supported by National Key Basic Research Special Fund of China. He has received several scientific awards, including National Natural Science Award and Zhejiang Young Scientist Award. His research area includes HVDC and FACTS, power harmonics and power quality, power system operation and control under the environment of deregulation.

Laboratory facilities:

Power system dynamic simulation laboratory, with 4 physical modeling machines, 2 rack of RTDS and power system analysis software such as NETOMAC, EMTP, etc.
