Research description:
I have am active in the analysis and design of new motors, power conversion circuits and ac motor drives. Recent emphasis: pm/reluctance motors, multi-level inverters, smart gate drives for high power switches, resonant snubbers sensorless motor control.
Laboratory Facilities:
Extensive capability in fabrication and testing of power electronic circuits and motor drives. EMI testing capability
