Her current research are in the following related areas: identification of harmonic source and voltage sag source in a distribution system, classification of power quality disturbances using wavelets, linear predictive coding, fuzzy logic, bispectral, fractal analyses, application of neural networks and expert system in power quality assessment, voltage stability and system security, modelling and simulation of custom power devices, voltage sag analysis software tool, passive and active filters for harmonic mitigation
