Dr. Baughman is conducting research on the economics of electrical transmission systems, industrial cogeneration, electricity regulation, and electricity pricing. He is currently a member of the ERCOT-SPP Synchronous Interconnection Committee. He recently completed a study on the Gains-From-Trade that might be achieved from increased trade over the ERCOT-SPP interface if the electrical systems in the two regions were synchronously interconnected.
